Featherz - Don't sweat things about CL. Sometimes I'm just to tired to answer back that I'm no longer interested. I check the wording on some and if they're not using proper English I delete them right off.

True, but I am betting you don't make plans and a time to meet someone then just not show up. Have had that happen twice so far. I took a shower and I really don't look very scary. At least I don't think so.

You're not that scary...actually kinda pretty....but people are a$$es....period.

I once drove to meet someone to GIVE THEM things....free things....stuff they posted they wanted, I had and I was willing to meet them in a place convienient for them. THEY NEVER SHOWED or replied to my phone messages. Idiots.

Have you tried a "FREE CHICKS" sign on the lawn? If they are driving by and see it, they might actually come in to to get them, instead of flaking out on you. (I know a lot of bunnies, puppies and kittens are given away with a lawn sign)

Hey all, is anyone selling any young chicks around glens falls? I was on here before looking for a chick or two for my silkie girl, but her broodiness broke before I could find any. well, my easter egger girl's been broody for about two and a half weeks now, and my two little three month old roos are WAY too young to have fertilized her eggs for her, so...well, the chick search starts again! If anyone has any really little guys, I'd love to buy them from you!

I was on here before looking for a chick or two for my silkie girl, but her broodiness broke before I could find any. well, my easter egger girl's been broody for about two and a half weeks now, and my two little three month old roos are WAY too young to have fertilized her eggs for her, so...well, the chick search starts again! If anyone has any really little guys, I'd love to buy them from you!

Mine are a week old, but you are welcome to them if you want them. I have a few more eggs hatching in two weeks for my broodies and I'll have a few extra I am sure.. I am near glens falls also.

Featherz - I've had no shows too. I usually ask them to meet me at the school nearby. I had one fool thought I'd meet him in parking garage at night. I came right out and told him he was being ridiculous. You should find a place nearby and have them meet you. Though now that I think about it I did deliver a set of mattresses, but they weren't to far from me. I suppose worse thing have happened to me.


I do have a hen with two chicks if anyone wants them they can have them. They're mom is a BM and the dad is a Del. I've no intention to keep them and will post them to CL later. The GS is coming tomorrow and he has never seen chicks that I know of so I'm waiting until he see them.

LOL!! Thankfully my one second time broody is pretty calm.. but the tiny little araucana is a real biatch. When she gets out to take her daily walk she shrieks like a banshee and jumps at everyone then flies around, lets out another big SHRIEK, does a dustbath, then stomps back to her golf balls all poofed up. I hope she'll take a chick from the few eggs I put in the bator for her.. Maybe I'll let her hatch them - put a few under her at day 18?

Aww, elvis is all grown up.. Anyone need a cute NN roo? I have a few. Haven't decided which to keep yet - they are all scared to death of me so I can't tell if any will grow up to be meanies. =)
