The pseudoephedrine is what's most likely keeping you up, as it's notorious for making people bounce off the walls. I recommend taking an anthistamine like plain Benadryl or chlorpheniramine (Chlor-Trimeton) at night, and reserving the PSE-containing meds for the daytime.

You two are great! Next time I'm sick, forget going to the doctor! I have abstained from all oral meds today, will just take some advil or tylenol before bed. I'm just glad hubby had a whole extra bottle of the eye drops for the pink eye, started treating as soon as discovered at 3am and feels much better. I did get a nice nap this morning, since it was hubby's planned day to stay home with Little Girl. At least I no longer look like a vampire zombie.Go Hen! I would have made the same suggestion but am not allowed to. I guess thats why your the "doctor:!!!
I did just check the med cabinet, I have some chlorpheniramine based allergy meds. No more hyper pills for me. Of course the illness could be from the pink eye virus too, I'll see how my symptoms are in the morning. As long as I can keep the pain in check, I'll be good to go (to work anyways).
