NY chicken lover!!!!

The pseudoephedrine is what's most likely keeping you up, as it's notorious for making people bounce off the walls. I recommend taking an anthistamine like plain Benadryl or chlorpheniramine (Chlor-Trimeton) at night, and reserving the PSE-containing meds for the daytime.

Henicillin (Pharm.D., R.Ph.)

Go Hen! I would have made the same suggestion but am not allowed to. I guess thats why your the "doctor:!!!
You two are great! Next time I'm sick, forget going to the doctor! I have abstained from all oral meds today, will just take some advil or tylenol before bed. I'm just glad hubby had a whole extra bottle of the eye drops for the pink eye, started treating as soon as discovered at 3am and feels much better. I did get a nice nap this morning, since it was hubby's planned day to stay home with Little Girl. At least I no longer look like a vampire zombie.
I did just check the med cabinet, I have some chlorpheniramine based allergy meds. No more hyper pills for me. Of course the illness could be from the pink eye virus too, I'll see how my symptoms are in the morning. As long as I can keep the pain in check, I'll be good to go (to work anyways).

Ok you two. Any thoughts?

My GP is moving. I received a letter some months ago that they would not be seeing patients at their then base hospital. Now I receive a letter that they are moving from the base hospital office location to a non hospital affiliated office.

I asked DW who works in a hospital, (not theirs) but she said to call and ask where would I go if I needed to be hospitalized and which they would see me at. Why they are moving, etc. etc.

I like my GP but have concerns.

starting in 2014 it will get MUCH worse.

Forgot what I stopped in for.

Country Max in Cicero is having a 25% off everything in the store sale. TWO DAYS only. Excludes feeds and bedding though.

BOSS is $21.95 for a 50# bag. There are some other things on sale you might find on line.

Hey pharmacy peeps - what do y'all think of Astelin? Does it get RX'd a lot? I'm an RN in a clinic with lots of allergy prone patients and have never even heard of it, but paid a visit to an ENT yesterday and got that and Nasacort, neither of which will be covered by my new insurance after 9/1 (but were covered this time around). I keep seeing some scary sides about astelin like headaches and horrible nightmares - and both those meds will be $$ if I have to pay for them myself. I guess I'll see if they work before demanding cheaper flonase (ENT doesn't like flonase since it comes with an alcohol carrier). :p (Not sure anything will work, since I have no obvious allergy symptoms).

As for house cleaning.. I used to clean everything down to the last speck of dust and I kid you not, the relatives would have the place messed up 10 seconds after they walked in. No one every noticed the days worth of cleaning I had to do. Now I just make sure the dishes aren't moldy and the laundry isn't in the middle of the living room. =)

My roosters are driving me bonkers with the crowing. I keep hoping one will wing drop me or give me some sign that he needs to be relocated, but so far they are all behavior - one good thing tho, a neighbor just got guineas. =) If he keeps em, those will drown out my roosters!

No disrespect, but how does this answer my question? I could be dead in 2014, can't worry about that now.
I'd find out where your doc will have privileges - probably it could be the same hospital you usually go to. Oddly enough, out where I am, due to the economy/? medicare cuts most likely, we are seeing physician owned practices merge with larger hospitals, not the other way around. Maybe your GP is doing more business and wants to break away?

Hi everyone,

Really sorry to hear of the allergy attacks; I go through a month of misery, and sometimes more, in late Spring to early Summer.

Yesterday was a milestone for the girls and me - they finally got relocated to the coop/run area permanently, and I got my ham radio room back. The girls are always happy to be outside with more room to annoy each other, as well as do what chickens do. However, come dusk I picked each one up to place inside the "scary" coop - they didn't like that and let me know by trying to jump out while I was trying to catch another chicken to put inside. Finally got all of them inside and listened to them chirp for the next half hour or so, either scared or annoyed, or both. Finally closed my door to get some peace and quiet.
No predators visited last night, though that's bound to change once word gets out. Around 6 this morning, just as the sun was beginning to crest over the hills, I opened the coop door - some flew or jumped out, the others I picked up and placed on the ground.
Installed the ramp this morning and got a few of the girls to climb up it into the coop - bread treats work wonders.

Sorry for the book.

Well if you need to get rid of any Am's let me know. :)
