Don't know where your words are. Oh, well! No Oreo targets both white and brown hens. He doesn't care who he hops on. He does seem to have his favorites, though (those with the most feather loss!).

Chickprincess Buddy and his girlfriends free ranged yesterday for their first full day together. He's still a bit hen pecked, and still no crowing. I saw him 'yawn' yesterday, maybe he's starting to get the itch. He is still a perfect gentleman.

Awwww! Thanks for posting a pic. My other roo is also a gentleman still. But roo #1... he's GOT to go before I kill him myself. He's just a nasty booger! One of the BA hens had a bloody comb this morning. I'm guessing it was him.

She was fine this afternoon.

I always thought I wanted geese.   Then I saw goose poop.  Now I just want parakeets.  LOL

Previous owner of our house had a goose wandering around, belonged to the junkyard neighbors who were not living there at the time. Between the goose and Rottweiler, there was poop everywhere. Thankfully the goose was removed before we purchased the house and the old dog was euthanized. Now there is chicken poo everywhere instead.

Chickprincess--we ate our problems and they were pretty tasty. Gave the girls their hearts and gizzards and they seemed happy to have their revenge on their tormentors/serial rapists!

All this rain is going to turn my chickens into ducks! It also means I have to keep the coops turned over as it gets damp inside from all the rain we have been having. The damp air doesnt help with the drying process so I am always out there turning things over to make sure I have no problems. Of course the terrorists have to come in to see what I am doing and get into everything. Rir's are the nosiest chickens I have ever come accross! Inside or out, they have to be under foot and into everything you are doing!

Hope everyone is staying well. The flu is going around and we are getting lots of people looking for relief at the pharm. Good thing I got my flu shot. Going out with DD today to have some quality time together. Have to go food shopping as well and get the cheeps some veges and fruit. Have a good day everyone!
