Gramma---The terrorists are my 21 rir,red sexlink, br group. When we got them as tiny, one day old chicks, I knew there was something different about this flock. As the grew, I swear they spent their days in the brooder plotting how to get out of it and the best way to terrorize us with their shenanaigans. When they finally went into their coop, it only got worse. I see them checking the perimeter every day and standing around in little groups plotting. Of course they immediately disperse when they see us coming. They also follow us around, getting under foot and into whatever we are doing. I swear they are either trying to kill us by tripping us up or undoing what we are working on! Unlike my silkies or my hens (our first flock of 8 hens who will be 3) these terrorists would take over the place if they could! lol They are very smart sometimes and very pushy. Thats why I like watching them so much.
Featherz--I can empathize. People come to the pharm and ask all the time what they can take for the flu. Im like just stay home, drink lots of fluids and let it run its course. Same thing with colds. Everyone wants a quick fix, a pill, an antibiotic and thats why so many illnesses have become resistant to treatment because of the overuse of medications. Sometimes you just have to let these things run their course.
