NY chicken lover!!!!

I will be setting egg again soon. DW is leaving for the week so I'm waiting til she goes, so I don't have to listen to her ask me why I'm hatching more eggs.

Unfortunately, no one is fighting it anymore. I followed the whole thing pretty close and it seems a lot of people have stopped trying to get it changed because the Mayor refuses to budge :(

That's too bad, because from what I've heard, it's really been a positive and successful movement in some cities. That really stinks.

At the risk of getting laughed off the forum, does anyone have an interest in 1 or 2 free-to-good-home roosters, 9-months old and, from what I'm told, "very handsome and nice pets." Their owner only has one hen now and she is getting way too much attention. There were 3 more roosters in the same hatch, all of which have found good homes. My friend thinks 1 is a White Leghorn roo and the other is (likely) a RIR.

She lives in Marcellus, NY.

Julia and her only chick that hatched over the weekend. I had a few in the incubator that hatched over the weekend as well, I'm going to try giving them to her tomorrow night.

My grow out pen.....sassy little munkins.

Your flock is looking great! I still have a splah roo for you, but I think your new splash is just outstanding.

No, I really haven't even thought about it yet. Tomorrow I am setting my first hatch and I don't have anywhere to keep chickens any how, my neighborhood is very crammed together and I know neighbors would complain.
