NY chicken lover!!!!

Pine needles sound good to me also. I think pharm uses a lot of needles at her house.

Brought the girls to the syracuse zoo on wednesday and I wouldn't recommend anyone go there soon. It is under construction which made it difficult with hot thirsty kids that had to pee. Got all the way around the loop and was told we had to go all the way back around to get out when you could see the entrance.

Going to the utica zoo today for the preschool field trip. Then I think I'm going to take the girls to the library.

Yesterday we hoed all the rows in the garden. I enlisted DH's help when he got home after I did 4 rows. I planted my greens and root vegetables in the 4. Today I want to plant tomatoes. I use the feed sacks from the local feed mill to put over the tomatoe cages, which gives gives each plant its own little green house. I also buckled at the local green house/market on some pansies, herbs, broccoli, rubarb, and brussel sprouts. AND baklava, flaky pastry with nuts and honey.

Morning all,
Does anyone know where I can get this type of roofing?

I've tried searching on Home Depot's website but I can't seem to find it. Is it something that's sold in a sheet or does it come in pieces?

I saw it in our local Lowes. It comes in 8 foot long sheets and longer

I just went to Lowe's website and found a whole bunch of different kinds! Thanks, I can't stand Home Depot LOL I can never find what I'm looking for there, nor can I ever find a person to help me!

I had considered this type of roofing for my runs but after researching it found that it does not hold up well. You can paint it if it is not in a color you'd like. I wanted green but Lowes did not carry green. To order it would have cost to much.

On a small scale as in the picture it might be okay because maintenance would be easy, but to do a whole building or run was just not worth it.

Yea, I'm kinda curious as to how it's going to work out. I wanted to do something different other than wood but didn't want something as heavy as shingles because this top will open/close for me to clean it. This is going to be for a double wide storage crate coop for the ducks so I think I can get away with purchasing just one sheet and having them cut it in half for - they CAN do for me there right??

Yup I got mine at lowes for my old run & coop. Held up great all winter and when the sun shines on it the snow just slides off. Easy to use/cut to fit where you need it. Didn't seem to make it hotter in the run either. I was able to get red my fav color :)
