I'm coming down to NYC on June 4th until the 6th. If anyone wants eggs, etc. & is on my way....let me know. My Lavndar Orps & Coronation Sussex are laying, and I should hve some dark Marans eggs. I won't be setting anymore by then.

I am also liquidataing all my white & black Silkies. I have some very nice white cockerels whose sire is a Catdance roo. Also I have a lot of Coronations & lav orp sexed chicks.

Chicks are all black, may be split for Lav. $5.00 each

I also have fertile hatching eggs available for $12/dozen.

I don't need a specific kind, just purebred and one that is of breeding age or close to it.

We have silver ameraucana and project blue silver ameraucana (blue ameraucana X silver ameraucana). We have a roo hatched from when we had them penned together about 3 months old. If you want him he's free.
He's in center, not barred. He's at that gangly juvenile stage.

My DH has also decided to get rid of the blue silver project because we don't have the time to put into it and he wants to downsize. We have 3 hens and 1 roo he would sell for $50 for the group. They are 1yr old.










Our original silver parents were out of stock from pips&peeps in washington. Our original blue parent from rockin paints in ohio.

Afternoon all. Came home and released the silkies and big girls and put the tater tots out in the puppy pen. The terrorists will come out later when I can sit out and play warden to keep them on our side of the road, out of the neighbors newly seeded lawn. I will have persuasive correction tool in hand to help me. Silkies were thrilled to get out into the front yard and the two groups are behaving themselves for a change. I never have to worry about the divas because they ignore the silkies and do their thing. The terrorists, however, are another story. They are always stalking around the tots looking for a way in to get to the food I sprinkle in there for the babies to scratch for. They also boldly go into the divas coop and eat their food and would probably do so to the silkies coops if they could get in. Olaf would probably kill my roos if they got into it so I like to err on the side of safety.

Hen--you are not the only one with roo problems. Olaf has been challenging both me and my dh lately. I think he has gotten on his last nerve. I expect to hear that freezer camp or crock pot hot tub is getting a visitor this weekend. Thats okay because two of the tater tot rir are boys so I have some up and coming. I also have a couple of sexlinks who are getting on my nerves and they might be joining him. They are nasty to the rest of the girls in the group.

All you peeps with your free chicks and hatching eggs are killing me. I need more acreage and more coops so I can take advantage! Of course that would mean more work, more feed, ect which would mean more working for me or winning of the lottery. Hmm....Okay, Im good with four coops and what I have!!! lol

If there is any kind of get together this year would whomever is hosting it post it soon? I have to put in for any days off I need like a month in advance and even then its a crap shoot.

Gotta go check on the tater tots. Later.
