Thank you.
You can learn a lot when someone disagrees with you. <<<< So agree!

, we just don't know how to write and say what we mean with tact. <<<< Is that a common trait of chicken keepers? Because I have NEVER been accused of having (any) tact!
In other news... I went to shut my chickens in for the night... the chickens are the good girls and they all go to bed as the sun goes down. Then I went to go round up the ducklings. FOUR of the five ducklings were already in their house!!!!

I figure if they do this for about a week I can take down their playpen and let them go mow the lawn.

So It's been a long day and I don't want to finish my homework LOL My one Silkie is a loud mouth flighty hen good luck catching her LOL. and as annoying as she is the chickens actually called her back to the coop LOL. I wish everyone a good nite.

Well, thanks to Stony's help, I can quickly share a few pictures of the younger girls who I dub the "little sisters" (these birds from Marquisella). Once again, I am very late getting on site to check in. Tomorrow (I hope) to have more time and will try to post a few more photo's, including some of my "big sisters" from Rancher.

Click on pics for a larger image.

Here is the Lavender Orpington "Chumley" with her buddy "Cracker", the Coronation Sussex. Chumley is very cuddly and when I let them out to walk around a little, if something frightens her, she runs back to me and hides by my legs. Cracker is shy, but sweet.

Chumley with my lovely Brabanter, "Gertie", who is also super sweet and likes to nap on your lap.

Pretty Gertie.

My broody BO, who was sitting on eight worthless mutt eggs for five days (I candled a couple last night out of curiosity, and the four I looked at were ALL clears - ugh!) is now on twelve of Brahmapapa's eggs, nine Brahmas and three Wyandottes.
