NY chicken lover!!!!

Here's a couple of the teen chickens from CB's eggs - these aren't great pics, I usually am walking around with only my phone and can't be bothered to get a 'real' camera.. :) Nugget the roo chillin with his peeps': The Gang (minus one). They don't seem to like the grass as much as hanging out around the coop. :)
Ohhh WOW, I wish I had one of those dark ones!!! They are so pretty!! Love the dark one with the copper necklace.....wanna trade my alien for one of the dark ones?!?! Haaa

Anyone know someone who rescues special needs birds?? I've got a Lil Gold Laced Polish who's beak is slightly twisted I'm worried I'm not prepared to care for it if I happens to worsen. It's barely noticeable and it eats normally at this point....either rescue or a pot. I just can't bring myself to.....well you know. Any help?!?

Speaking of beaks, I noticed then other day my Silkie Roo, Duncan, has a crack in his beak. It's almost like its split in half. I'm not too worried about it seeing as how it's it's not bothering him too much. But is that it? It's just cracked for life now? I'm assuming chickens' beaks don't "grow".

As far as I know beaks grow like finger or toenails do.... am I right?? Usually a beak deformity is a result of a genetic flaw or a vitiman deficiency...I'm just hoping I can rehome or repot mine before it begins to struggle if it will at all... It's a shame, it's So Pretty and So Funny!!
