NY chicken lover!!!!

Now that the line chick has dried out I tried placing it with Stella and her chicks this morning. She immediately starting pecking at it, not too hard but hard enough to where I think she might do some damage. So I got the chick out, grabbed one of the other chicks and brought them inside in a box. So cute, the new chick keeps huddling up against the bigger chick like it thinks it's her mama.

We are paying $92 a month for the phone and internet. We need the long distance cuz two kids live out of state.

We have the Freedom plan and DSL. What frustrates me is that I pay some things on line and need access to my bank accounts. I no longer get paper statements for some things.

Would a wireless set up help?

What kind of Antenna do you have? Ours is really bad. We sometimes can't get 46 and 56. I can't climb on the roof. I've seen some that attach to the side of the house outside.

We pay like 89.99 a month for time warner we have basic cable, home phone (has long distance included my fam is out of state), and high speed internet. With that we have 2 boxes, 1 box is basic the other box has dvr to record shows we aint here to watch.

If you do go to time warner haggle with them if they say they cant set you up better than the basic packages ask to speak to someone else. I was going to stop after our first 2 year set up with them because they was going to raise my rate at the end of my contract so I set up to have it turned off a few months later. Not a week later I had a call from them asking if I would talk to a person. He came over and set me up with more stuff for the same price I was paying when I started out with them.

As for cell phones we use straight talk $45 a month card for unlimited internet and talk (long distance included). We normaly only have it activated during winter and hunting season or if we go out of town.

Now for my chicks. I'm up to 3/7 out as of now. One I thought was dead so I started to open it up see what happened and the dang thing turned and popped its head out. The extra egg that comes out was bloody some. It seems to be ok, took it awhile to get out of the egg even after I took a lot of it off. 3 of the last 4 have started pipping.

Country max is going to have a sale on wood shavings next week. Check their site. FYI I buy the "NOBLES" because it's bigger chips. $4.30 3.25 cft. Limit is 50. If they run out get a rain check.

I'll have to find a bill I cant find one as of right now. We order movies on demand a lot so our bill flexes some. But when I do i'll let ya know what it is.

Chicks 2 yellows 2 blacks. blacks have white on bottom and white on wing tips. The legs are blackish with some yellow on toe tips on the black birds the yellows have yellow legs from what I can see into the bator.

I know for a fact it works!!
It's not ye penny as much as the water in the Baggie. It messes with the way the Fly sees and redirects them so they are unable to fly thru any doorway or window the Baggie is hung. Pretty cool and very inexpensive deterant.

Saw a squirrel this evening going near the coop, but scared it away. Have set two rat traps on the tree baited with peanut butter. Hope one of them gets this bugger.

Other wise it's the have a heart with %$^&.

Last week I was complaining bout rain, now it's so cuss-ed hot.

Can anyone tell me why there are blood spots in my eggs? Only 2 and they seem to be constant. Not large spots but sometimes there are a lot of them. thanks. sue

I'd be ok with some heat if this humidity would drop and the rain would stop for a week. Our field hasn't been hayed yet, so can't rotate the horses into more pasture. The dedicated pasture is over grazed, but until the hay is off the extra acres, I'm stuck.
Little Girl's 3rd birthday party was today and I survived. Feet and ankles are killing me from running around in the garage on the concrete then back in the house, all barefoot. Always make too much food, so lots of leftover fruit, veggies, Dark Chocolate Cake and yellow cupcakes both with white chocolate frosting and an extra batch of frosting. Yum!
I wonder since we now have the garage cleaned out, if hubby would let me have a chicken get together.... I'd ask him now but he is already snoring away, of course he can't say no then either.
