NY chicken lover!!!!

I skipped 4 pages... probably shouldn't have... but on the subject of EE's... I have so many. it's pretty unusual for them to lay before 26 weeks. more common between 28 - 30 weeks. and don't throw in the towel if it takes longer. it's worth the wait.

I've got some I'm waiting on. One laid a very small egg, so she may be laying bigger ones now. I've got two in the Marans coop hoping they'll produce Olive eggers next spring.

DD thought she might be in labor last night. She's got 4 wks to go. Doofus, called his father at 1am. He wanted to call us but DD advised him and wisely against it.

Every day I look but can not keep up! You guys are crazy!!

Tab!!

You pop yet?

Hahahahaha yeah it's hard to keep up sometimes I have to take breaks during the day just to read. LOL
She popped a beautiful baby girl.
My defiant little bantam cochins insisting on going broody. They laid so many eggs in the shavings bag they are spilling out on the floor

LOL that tickles me, good luck with that.

Got home from bringing DD to dance tonight to find all the silkies, frizzles and chicks sleeping under their coop in their run. Wth!? Guess it doesn't matter where they are considering there is no door to close to their coop, it's just open to the run but still. Why the heck are they all huddled up in a ball down under in the run!?

Hoping to get some eggs from my KC duck soon. Should I be putting eggs in the nestbox/duck house so she knows where to lay them??
