JoAnnes and other sell Mellisa and Doug toys. I was in JoAnnes and saw them and thought they're usually not on sale so you can use the 40% off coupons on the toys and save.

Plus they will sometimes accept their competitors coupons. AC moore has one coming up that is 60% off.

If you have one near you, you need to get their e-mails and save.

I get all those emails but I forward them to my mother since she has her own seeing business and is always getting supplies at JoAnns. They do tend to have good sales on their toys selections. My son was really into Thomas The Tank Engine when he was younger and I was able to score a bunch of deals at ACMoore on the trains and some of the structures for his track. Great for anyone who has kids or grand kids that are into those trains!

Good morning! Hope everyone up north is safe with all the snow, we're just getting a ton of rain here...

I've decided that I need to move the 3 hens and a rooster out of the small coop they are in. It's a small store brand one and kind of flimsy. I was letting everyone out this morning and noticed that the fencing around the small coop had been messed with last night. It looks like some sort of animal was chewing and pulling at the fence (I probably should have paid attention to the dogs when they were going nuts last night). I'm pretty sure it could get into that little coop if it tried hard enough. Now it's time to do some moving around of the coops...ugh at least tomorrow is supposed to be decent weather.

Glad they are okay ...Can you identify the tracks ?

Seems as tho my KC duck WAS upset about not getting into the coop to lay her egg because I walked outside a little bit ago to find an egg of hers in the snow! I guess ducks really will lay an egg anywhere they please!

I'm surprised at the places I see Mellissa and Doug stuff. Even CM has it. We scored some at 50% off in a store closing at the Destiny mall. The stuff we got was originally marked $19.99 so I bought a bunch for the grandkids. JoAnns wasn't to bad.

The stuff at Joanns wasn't on sale but was different than what I got so I may get some. Plus my GD is into painting and collages, (at 3) so I figure that stuff is rarely on sale so I can save a few pennies.

Evening all! Got my snowshoes on my car so I am ready for it now. Got rain all day and now its freezing rain and snow. I let the silkies out for a while this afternoon so they wouldnt feel so cooped up.

They enjoyed their outing despite the rain (unlike their wussy terrorist cousins, who hid under their coop all day). Gave everyone some grapes and leftover meat and rice I found in the fridge. The terrorists came out for that. Took a nap but I am still tired. Not looking forward to my 4am shift friday. My cat was happy I was home today and we cuddled all afternoon.

Rancher--glad to see you are going to learn to process. Its not hard and gets quicker the more you do it. Good luck with your barred rock project. Still working on my rir project.

Miquwid--love the way you posted! Work customers will be jerks until tax time!

Wishing everyone here a safe and Happy Thanksgiving! I am sure all the turkeys and chickens are hoping you will eat the other white meat!

I wish but we have no snow I'm moving them for the night out of the coop and I'm going to put the game cam up and see what I get. My guess is raccoon or fox the wire was bent pretty good and chewed quite a bit. The animal was luckily too stupid to try and dig under the fence.
