I know right? I've never heard of a yellow egg layer but that's what she said. I don't know exactly what breeds the parents were but I really can't wait to get eggs from them come springtime/early summer.

Where did you get your silver am? My mom is starting with chickens this spring when her coop gets finished, I think they were on her list. I'm hoping my BO goes broody come spring, I would like to add some blue eggs to her hatch.If i ever find out when and where the picnick is i'll try to bring hatching eggs and chicks if i can/aloud. I am waiting to see what colors my re's lay still. But i have a white leg horn and silver amer hens that my amer roo will be over so should have light blue to blue.
