true. Ducks are easy. They welcome each other with open wings. None of this pecking order silliness

What kind of ducks do you own? I started out with Khakis, added what I thought was a female, ended up being a male, brought it back to the woman I got him from, brought in two magpies that were supposed to be male/female, ended up being two males, then added two female runners and most recently a runner drake, never had an issue. I love the duckers! If someone told me I had to choose either chickens or ducks, ducks would win by far!
 
I have khakis, welsh harlequins and a blue Swedish. I have an over abundance of boys right now that doesn't help. I also have Muscovies but they keep to themselves. I think if the babies would stick up for themselves it would be fine but they're living with the bantams and total wusses.

Ahhh I see...well I have to yet to try adding teens to my flock. We'll see what happens when I attempt to hatch some eggs if my girls ever pick up laying again. I can't wait to have some ducklings again!
