Now I get ads for Vtech phones.

I just looked up the manual to set the recording. All this time it only announced but wouldn't let people leave messages. Why you would want such a set up is beyond me. I finally got the darn thing set. It has three mailboxes but I've no idea how to set up all three or why you'd want three. Sure each member of the family might want their own mailbox but no way am I going to try to figure out how to set each one.

Since our septic tank is so near the top of the ground and it's not far from a door, I plan to put a half hoop right over it with a light to put young chicks in. Right now I have two that could go in one til they get bigger. Of course they're both roos I think so they can go anywhere to anyone who will take them.

They're too small to go in the coop or the big'uns will beat them up. They have no heat light now but I've no coop to put them in. They're in a small crate now. The water freezes since it's been so cold.

I really need a transitional set up so they can move from one to the other.

We don't even have voicemail set up on our phones. We have caller ID, if I miss your call, I will most likely call you back. One of my biggest pet peeves with phones/cell phones is when someone leaves me a message (mostly my MIL) saying "hey it's me, call me back". Well, no kidding! You obviously called for a reason, I saw your number on my caller ID, I'm going to call you back to see what you wanted. I mean, isn't that just the natural thing to do?? Geez!

I like the caller ID because sometimes I don't recognize a number and if it's from our bank or credit union then I need to hear it.

Considering what just happened with Target and all that. DW is still waiting for her new card.

Too, we had a recall on some food bought at Wegmans. I got the call but if no one got to the phone in time, as happens quite often around here, we would not have known.
