We all have a wide variety of breeds. List the breeds you want, and I'm sure people will let you know if they have them for sale.

Some advice, please:
I have 14 chickens (5 roosters, 9 hens, all sebrights) and 5 guineas (unsure of the sex of the guineas, but I am guessing 3 males and two females). They are all about 18 weeks old. Their diet consists of carrots, broccoli, spinach leaves, cantaloupe, starter/grower, and corn mixed in the starter/grower. They have access to the starter/grower/corn 24/7 and get the other veggies 3 times a day.

I found my first egg today

and was wondering if I should switch over to layer/oyster shells, or just provide access to the oyster shells, or just keep the same diet.

Thanks for your input

I thought I heard crowing your way, but I also thought you order chicks and got only pullets.

Anyhow in answer to your question. If their combs are nice and red you can switch to layer feed. Either mash, crumbles or pellets. I would mix the grower and layer together and gradually make the switch.

You can also leave a dish of oyster shell out for on demand use. If they need it they'll eat it. Congrats on your egg. Did you get it bronzed? Most of us do you know.

For everyone else, TSC has Purina on sale $1 off for the next few days.

Time...that is so hard to come by!   We made hard cider last year...I have two kits going and two fresh pears and the other three.. I love to have lots of choices to drink!.."4 days in to 30 of no drinking" ?

Yes a whole month :( my choice though, sorta on a quest of self awareness/bettering/grounding/ happiness so no drinking and lots of exercise and healthy eating

Does anyone know what breed of chicken that is on home page of this site under with the subject "Chicken Breeds" under it. I tried looking for it when I clicked on that part of the slide but I couldn't find it.

Look what a coworker made me today! How cute! I can't seem to get it straight tho. Argh. Looks fine here! They are sooo cute! I would love the pattern too if you can get it :) I am in the middle of a baby blanket right now but when I get bored I put smaller projects in between
