Thanks. I was in a weird mood today figured I'd have some fun.

2 more days till my birthday. Think I may try to get tomorrow off seeing I'm already taking wed-Friday off.

Grrrrr. I wanted to go in to Syracuse, but my driveway is filled with snow. We haven't been plowed in a while, and I haven't had any trouble, but this fierce wind has put lots of snow in the drive and packed it tight. I was stubbornly making my way up to the street, but realized that the junk from the snow plow would stop me, so I'd be better off safe in my garage than stuck in that mess and have to gasp and wince, shovel myself out. I called the plow guy and I think he will free me so I can get to yoga...I hope.

I am ready for spring.

Toggenburg Fun Day is Saturday, and I'm not sure I'm in the proper frame of mind.

pharmchickmom When we purchased our Rental House we found the electric "put in the water" cylindar in the barn. Floyd says you can still purchase them. We have a grain store
near our summer cottage in Bouckville and they have all sorts of Chicken Stuff. The tub we keep the water in is large black plastic and they also have smaller ones we use for oyster
shells etc.

This Grain Store in Bouckville also carries Muck Boots which I wear always. I have the low
and medium high ones. They are super and last forever and are very reasonable.

If I run up and down my stairs just one a few more times today to check on the eggs I may have done the equivalent to a workout on my elliptical! LOL No pips yet but I keep checking every other hour or so. C'mon little chick-a-dees!!!!

Well it's time for the truth to come out don't you say rancher???

My silkies informed me they are aliens but the are good ones. They are here to take out the pod people who have been plotting to take over the world for centuries. They informed me they invented the tin foil and later the hats to help protect they're thoughts from the pod people. Once a pod person gets in your head there's no escaping them.

They informed me that there are a few hints that someone is a pod person. If the person don't like silkies. If the person has raised garden beds. If they live where it's almost always a puddle some where. And one of the biggest things is if they refer to garden of peas.

They say they are silkies and only someone who's head is nothing but a vegetable could not like them. The raised garden beds are so they can have a hidden garden under it where they raise the pods. The need for puddles always around is because they are vegetables and always need water. They said the term good garden o' peas refers to the pods they are raising since they look like peas when starting out.

So now the truth is out there RANCHER IS A POD PERSON!!!!!

Ps don't mind the mess in the back ground we have been waging war on the cold and now it seems on pod people lol

Don't mention the mess and I sure won't.

I can't say about being a Pod person but I am a member of the SDWD. The Society for Delaware World Domination.

I've two of those but the girls prefer the tubs of water, which means lugging milk jugs out each morning.

I keep those just in case but really don't care for the nipple waterers much at all and neither do they. During the summer I use the gallon red things.

OMG LOL..My kids had to ask me what I was laughing at...That is just to funny...Didn't notice the "mess" till you said something.
