Ick that sucks. The good news is I had a hen living under my front porch for over a month and she was fineNervous now....Gru flew the coop today...Up and Over the poultry netting! When I went to get him back in he took off on the path of grass/mud that led under the side porch because he refused to touch snow. So he's roosting under the deck now. There's no getting him out either. Please keep your fingers crossed nothing gets him tonight. I can't believe he's under there and hasn't come out. Then again it's dark out now so he's probably settled for the night.
Ick that sucks. The good news is I had a hen living under my front porch for over a month and she was finepredators don't tend to come too near my house (I think because of the dogs). I'm sure he will be fine for one night. You could try shaking some scratch by the porch and maybe he will come out?![]()
I don't know what they eat either, but I'm sure they're having a grand 'ol time picking up the feed my rabbits drop out of the cage when they decide to dump their bowls over!Nice out today. Cleaned two coops of the mostly wet stuff.
Bunny still there. Don't know what they eat. I did dump a half head of cabbage and carrot peelings in the compost, so maybe it will come out and mosey over to the salad bar.![]()
Same thing happened to meNervous now....Gru flew the coop today...Up and Over the poultry netting! Same thing happened to meOne guinea slipped through the netting and 3 others followed before I could even complete a shutdown on the coop
All my chicks are safe and sound, but I have 4 guineas in the trees somewhere on the property. I can see one of them about 80 feet up. Supposed to get cold and snowy tonight
They should be safe from any wandering predators, but I have no idea how I am going to get them down...![]()
