I have heard this guy is very good.

Ben Shaw 49 Clarks Mill Road Greenwich, NY 12865 Phone: 518-695-6801.

Thanks Annie!

Do you know if he has a mobile unit or does one go to him?
Ginny

I believe you bring the birds and a cooler with ice to him. Go away for a few hours and come back to pick up "dinner". Let me know if you decide to try him.

Reminding everyone of the Swap Meet this saturday at the Cornell Cooperative Extesion Oneida County, 121 Second St., Oriskany 13476. All poultry & small animals.

Second St. is off of Judd Rd. The Building is on the corner of Judd Rd. & Second St. There is a large sign on the corner that says" Oneida County Farm & Home Center". That is it. It might not say Cornell Coop Extension.

The fee for selling is $10 per spot, free for buyers. Set up is 8 to 9am, sales until 4pm.

First come basis for sales area. I will be there at 8am to direct sellers to areas. It is a large blacktop parking lot so there will be plenty of room to set up, but sales areas are to be kept at 10 x 10 feet areas.

Lets make this a successful Swap so that the club will want to put it on each year. This area is sorely lacking in this type of activity.

All small animals are welcome, and animal related products. There will also be some crafters.

Rain or shine, there are restrooms and water is available. No food this year, but if its successful, we will have food next year.

If you have questions, please pm me or email me privately.

Ben Shaw is great two thumbs up! He's a tiny bit pricey (3.00/bird or rabbit) but totally worth it if you don't want to deal with it yourself! I'm just outside of Albany NY myself in Valley Falls

I'm ready to rehome my Lavender/Split Ameraucana quad & thought I'd give you guys first crack at them.

The roo is Lavender and I have 1 lav hen & 2 split hens. They were hatched last spring. The roo & split hens are from Pips & Peeps... the lavender girl is from Chicken Stalker. Her comb is a bit off, but she throws gorgeous chicks & their combs are just fine.

PM me if you're interested!

Well that's not fair. I hadn't got a chance to say anything. Not that I wanted the roo, but the split would 've been ok if she's laying.

TRISH!

(I swear that girl has no self control).

Renee, isn't there someone that could bring them for you?

Good question -- I didn't ask anyone.

At this point, I'm ready to have a clearance sale!

2 eggs yesterday and 2 today. There was only ONE when I went down to collect the eggs today and ONE hen out in the run. She looked at me like "where's my worm?". I told here no worms until I get eggs. I said it aloud, she just gave me a look. So she squatted down and when she walked away there was an egg in the run.

I had to reach through the pop door to get it, but you can bet your sweet bippy she got a couple of worms.

I have blossoms on my Summer Squash plant. It's STILL IN THE HOUSE. I wonder if I can find a bee to pollinate it in this weather. (And no, I don't usually start squash in the house, but I was really really bored one day and the seed order came. LOL)
