NY chicken lover!!!!

Look at the bottom of his feet. If there are bumps, kinda like carbunkles, can't think of another way to explain it, or large swollen bumps, he might have bumblefoot. I'm dealing with it on one of my geese...not fun.

I could not see anything yesterday, both looked fine. But if I can get a hold of him today I'll take pics cuz maybe I'm missing something. I tried grabbing him today when I was letting the rest out but that failed. He's out there limping around again. :-(

So I'm up to 6 eggs for my next hatch and I've decided instead of waiting for the Brinsea to be empty that I'm going to try my LG one more time. I haven't tried a dry hatch in that one yet since having success with a dry hatch in the Brinsea. However when I do a dry hatch in the Brinsea, the humidty level in there is around 20%. The driest my LG has gotten is 16% and I'm wondering if I should add a small cup of water so it's at least at that 20% that the B usually is. I'm hoping to get up to at least 12+ eggs in there. Right now I have 2 from m Lav Orp, 2 from my Blue Orp and 2 from my Lav Silkie.

Managed to get a hold of him, I have him in the duck house by himself so he's not struggling to keep up with the others. I need to find some sort of crate or cage or something to keep him in because that's going to be difficult to keep him in each morning. Anyway, I got a better look at his feet again after washing them off so I could tell what was dirt and what wasn't. This is what I am dealing with here...

This is his right foot, the one he's hobbling around on and favoring. Looks like it could be a very early stage of bumble foot?

This is the left foot, which to me looks like it already has a small portion of bumble foot on it:

What should I do?!?

Your right, it is early stages, you might get away without having to cut out that dark spot. Give antibiotic, I think Tylan orally, or shot in breast. Put a drawing agent Like, Ichtamal on it. Gauze pad, then wrap foot in, vet wrap...its sold in most farm stores. It comes in rolls about 3 inches wide, stretches and sticks to itself so you don't need to use tape. Keep him isolated on a softer flooring. I have mine in a small coop with lots of shavings. If after a couple of days they don't go down, you will probably have to go diggin in it. They usually open up fairly easily, that one that is in the last photo, Then there might be pus like gunk inside you need to squeeze out & possible pull out a "plug like" thing, that is the root. Hopefully, you catch it early and don't have to operate. I'm going to uncover my goose foot today & hope its better. I don't want to go digging. PS if you do go digging, wear gloves, its a staff germ, you don't want to get it on you.

I'm wondering if ordering this tricide-neo that they discuss in this thread would help. But if I can find something at a local farm store, that would be a lot easier.
