Just got home from school pickup and saw my ducks running up the woods and over to the stream that's been flowing down so loudly. I guess they found it! :-( hopefully they return.

That is bumblefoot, he must have cut it jumping around or who knows how they get it. I know my goose was on stones, I didn't know they shouldn't be in a pen with stones, so he nicked his feet walking around. I was reading more and some said that to cut away the top to get to the inside, if there is pus, then you have to dig it out, will be cottage cheese like, look for the root or core to get out, then put iodine in it, soak gauze pad with it, wrap with vet wrap & pray. There are lots of treatments out there, but important to have some type of antibiotic as well. Good Luck.
This is the bump I mentioned a few days ago. It kinda looks like the pix in the links. Except it is not on the bottom of his foot. I stopped at Syracuse aquatic or aquarium in Jamesville, they don't have that product, and lamented all the products NY state forbids them to carry...just saw my photo, please excuse his dirty toes the bump is near his spur.
You are such a meanie teasing us with these pics
It is nice to see you back... That looks so yummy!!
