Maybe she got bit/stung by something? I'm sure others will be more helpful. Good luck!
Quote: It looks infected to me ...I would separate her ..and lance it with a sterile needle or lancet to see if there is puss in it.
It should stop the swelling. put some anti -bacterial ointment on it
I don't *think* she was bit or stung...they hadn't been outside for some time, up until today, and the swelling started yesterday. It looks infected to me ...I would separate her ..and lance it with a sterile needle or lancet to see if there is puss in it.
It should stop the swelling. put some anti -bacterial ointment on it

I try to put them away when the are dry ..but sometimes they are there till morning.
2 reasons I put them up there
1) they are out of the way of the 2 men that live here ..
2) they dry quicker up there ..if the shells are dry wouldnt the bacteria die if there was some there ?
Do you sell unwashed eggs ?
I think most people wouldnt want to buy eggs with poop on them ..im sure some people dont mind .
I suppose I could wash them in a vinegar rinse that would take care of the bacteria
I don't have any idea what's wrong but did you say that the top of her head is also swollen?
