NY chicken lover!!!!

Rainy here today. Glad I cleaned the run last night. Need to make some chipmunk/squirrel traps Ive noticed the few that were around have invited the aunts, uncles, cousins for the free morning meal. :/
I have 2 roos.. I took a good look at all of my chickens this morning. My 3 light Brahma's.. 2 of them have 3 rows of raised peas, the one has one small barely raised comb. To me thats a clear indicator those are cockerels. Im so upset. On the upside the one EE i thought could be a cockerel is not.
Those two cockerels are up for grabs. For anyone on here they are free, I just want them to go to a good prefer not " freezer camp" home, but I understand if that happens.. Just dont tell me..lol.. They are 7/8 weeks old. Healthy. Im in the oswego county area. I would like them to go asap.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Here is a pic of the finished sweater. I think I did all right for being a beginner and self taught. It fit my youngest daughter pretty good and it looks cute on her.
You did a great job! I really need to start to learn to follow a pattern. Right now all I make are blankets, hats and scarfs. I make up my own patterns as I go along.

I got my 3rd Duck egg today! so excited, now I can't wait till my Magpies start laying. My little cochin laid her first egg yesterday afternoon. It is the smallest chicken egg I have ever seen. It is just a little bit bigger then a robin's egg. I think that I'm going to put Peepers back in with the main flock soon. I have been letting the momma's and their babies free time with the rest of the flock and they seem to be doing well. Her babies are fully feathered now and about the same size she is. It is so funny at night to see her trying to hid them under her wings.

Who are you getting eggs from?? My fawn and white hasn't started laying yet. She'll be 20wks tomorrow.

My pekin. She is the same age! It is the one that I got from you. The Magpies are only 12 weeks. At first I thought it was a chicken that laid her egg in there, but the last 2 nights I make sure I check their hut before I lock it for the night and in the morning I find an egg! It looks a little different and has a different feel then the others. I was going to post a pic but can't find where I put my cord for my camera. I put it up so it would be safe...guess it is safe from me too.

You're supposed to tip the installer?

No that was a joke. They just keep adding things, to the TV commercial price, it's just ridiculous.

Lynzi, if you have extra sizzle chicks I will be interested, I still haven't found a mate for Hiccup.
Rancher, I could hatch Frenchys eggs for you if you would like. Also I have a white smooth cochin roo if you want a mate for her. He hatched in March so he won't be breeding right away. Let me know. Your Del eggs are hatching right now, 3 so far.
I haven't gotten any lately, but I do some some of Cotton balls, and she's being mated by Shorty the Lavender Auracana roo. If I do get any from Frenchy I will set the aside and let you know. Frenchy is 6 yrs old so I'm surprised she's laying at all.
