Yah, that's what I meant. One is in Ogdensburg, NY and the other in vorheesville. I am kinda new to the area so I get all the terminology mixed up. So used to California where everything was either North or South!

It is easier for me...I grew up in Western NY...live in Central...go North for things...Lived down State for awhile and have sold a few pug puppies in Albany area ....something like that!

Yes, cows, 500lb chickens, horses.. they'd all be safe. Did I mention he's screwing everything together? With 4.5" coated screws? He ran out of screws Sunday night, and I suggested nailing. Got a horrified look

He bought more screws last night.
I'm going to die of old age before this is done

He is enjoying building this though, so that is a good thing. I reminded him I still would like a small coop/run in the garden. He said that's nothing, lol. Yep, I can imagine he'll still be building when the snow is flying (not really, I hope!).

So funny - my husband is using 4 1/2" screws too! We just put the screen door on the coop today. I was suprised he used only two hinges - but those suckers are screwed in with the big screws!

Got hot, so we came in for a few min.

Oh, congrats on the newborn...with 5 I think I am done!..but a newborn...so sweet!

My ladies are now over four weeks old, and getting huge. As the garage is very warm and they're mostly feathered out, I decided this morning to shut their light off unless it gets unusually cold at night (and we all know that's a distinct possibility in NYS!). As soon as I did, I swear I felt a little "my babies are growing up!" pang. Chicken math is trying desperately to take hold of me - I want more chicks now, because heaven knows that fourteen of 'em just isn't enough!
