NY chicken lover!!!!

I dont use Garden dust ( 7 ) on my garden ...I dont want to eat something I grow that has chemicals on it ...I can get that stuff at the store ..
I dont use Garden dust (7) on my chickens either ..I would not eat the eggs ...People buy from me knowing that I dont use chemicals on or in my chickens .
I have never seen lice or mites on my chickens ..They dust bathe almost every day in regular dirt .

i Read that feather fixer has something in it that prevents mites ..I dont know what it is in it

i thought thats what i was shooting for with the DE..i will look into the feather fixer feed ..i really didnt want to use the garden dust only as a last ditch effort....

I have been using food-grade DE and Sweet PDZ in the coop since we first put the chicks out in the coop mid-September. No lice, mites, or smell! It's been great!
Lots of people seem worried about the impact of DE on the chickens respiratory system, but we've been lightly sprinkling it in the bedding along with the Sweet PDZ and then covered it with a thin layer of bedding.
So far so good!
I like to sprinkle it on the floor (heavy on the wet spots) of the coops and in corners. I dust the roosts and inside the nest boxes too..

I have used DE on chickens & the garden too ..
I found the chickens didnt need it ...they dusted themselves ..so I used it in the garden ..as it just set there not being used .
I will probably use next year in the garden ..I still have some left
This is the 1st I have heard of people eating it ...
Scrub your Colon ...? Does it Hurt ?
I will check out ..the link

I had a slug in the garage once and dusted it with DE. I don't know what happened but when I looked later it was gone. I've used it in my garden and believe me I get snails and slugs even with the chickens. It doesn't however seem to work well on Squash Borers or preventing them.

I just posted the thing about people eating it to prove the point that even wet DE is still effective. Some believe it isn't. I see it as just like clam shells in water. They don't dissolve and the creatures making up DE would not fair well either if they did. Right?

Anyhow I will continue to use it. For the chickens.

Would it make my colonoscopy go easier?

NEED ADVICE AND/OR INFORMATION.

Does anyone here have Verizon FIOS?

We're considering switching from TWC. We could use the $400 visa. The internet is faster and you get more channels. Not that we need more channels.

What are the taxes, fees and equipment charges? What is the FDV Amin fee?

See TWC is the same price $79.99 total $105. But also the internet for Verizon Fios is faster.

TWC is 3 mps Verizon Fios is 25mps Though you do have to a agree to a two year contract.

Thanks,

Rancher.

TWC, time warner cable? We cant get cable, to far out in the sticks. No cell service either. We have Frontier for landline phone. Package deal, phone with everything and unlimited long dis. DSL high speed internet. And dishnet for tv. Decided to save money and got a roku from walmart. Started with netflix, ended up getting hulu plus and amazon prime, less than $30 month for all three, watch what you want when you want. There is many free channels on the roku. After we got it called Frontier to drop dishnet and they said it would cost us more $ for not being a package. So we lowered our dishnet channels to the cheapest. We pay $110 a month, but I think it is a locked in price.

TWC advertises they are faster then dsl, we can click on netflix and watch a movie instantly, no hicups ever, even on our cheap laptop, not going to pay more for? We can't get cable anyway.

TWC internet is Soooooooooooooo slow. DSL was faster. We had our phone and DSL and were paying $82 a month. So we switched to TWC for $105 and got cable but the internet sucks.

Anyhow I figured we'd switch to Verizon Fios and get the $400 visa which we could use. IF the taxes and other stuff is the same as TWC.

FIOS is a 2 year guarantee no annual contract required. I may call them but different areas of the country charge different prices.

Is it possibly your computer ? How old is it ? What is your operating system ? or what is the Browser you use ?
It also may have extra junk on it that is slowing it down.

I have TWC & I get almost instant connection ..If I am waiting for more than a couple seconds ...it is unusual .
I have nothing Special for a connection ..I do have a newer computer ...
We have 3 computers going 24 / 7 ..My son plays online games ..while my hubby & I am both on.
