Pilgrims Pride certainly has some shady and inhumane practices against their chickens and against their employees. However, retaliating at the expense of the helpless chickens is so sickeningly wrong. I will admit Nutty's feed is a good deal but she's so far away. I would so buy her feed if it weren't so far or I had a truck.I dont Downsize in the winter either ...I figure the more bodies ...the more they are warm ...but I only have 22 ...
You should try Nuttys Feed ...it is organic ..just not certified ...it is fresh & smells Wonderful ..chickens love it .
I think it was 100 pounds for 16.00 - 17.00 ..quite a savings too
