I thought I posted yesterday see what happens when you are half asleep. Anyways yes thank you gramma chick eggs are In the incubator and the EE's from Rancher have settled in nicely.
Still sucks replacing my flock.

My iPod is impossible to copy/paste, but... Ithaca Agway posted on Facebook that they had a shipping error and end up with 5 breeds of chicks shipped in this week. I'm close enough to start a chicken train if you wanted some of them.

Do you think they still have any I'm looking for Orpington, wyondotte & partridge rock, I'd be cool with Delaware maybe if my tsc doesn't get any chicks in tomorrow that's really tempting... I need to get at least two more chicks this week to go with my 2 I already have O_O do they do straight run or pullets? If you know

It was posted today, so they should have some left. Think it was buff Orp, barred rock, RIR, comet and 1 other. All hatchery chicks of course.
Not sure where you are, but I hatched out Buff Orp and Partridge Rock eggs from Deb in Pompey. She sells hatching eggs and occasionally chicks if she had a broody hatch some. Cydney88 had Partridge Wyandottes, but were higher priced than I wanted to experiment with. I have one GLW roo, so got some mixed chicks.

Very cool, well my current 'need' can be fulfilled with hatchery chicks if need be, I've been looking for a few buddies for the 2 tsc hatchery chicks I ended up with :-/ they're darling and are planning to be my spring 'gardeners' but they need some pals and all anyone seems to have that I can get my hands on fast (while these two are still teeny tiny so they're comparable size/ age to go together) its all barred rocks and the are too similar to my doms lol - the things that bother me. If tsc gets some in tomorrow I'm good but otherwise it might drive up, I'm under an hour from Ithaca

Check with Ithaca TSC too, but looks like the Agway has a good selection.

Don't know how far you all are from Clifton Springs, have any of you heard of The Poultry Hatchery? I'm pretty sure they were known as A&J farms last year, at least the address is the same. As A&J they were on BYC and said they will never ship, now they ship as The Poultry Hatchery. Their website isn't set up yet but you can look at a breeds and price list. I think they have more breeds available than the large hatcheries. They have two separate price lists, one for you pick up, and one for shipping.
