Hi everyone! I finally got my computer and my back fixed. (NOT the same guy..lol) Glad to hear that everybody got through the storm ok. We wound up with about 3 1/2 feet of snow. I'm so glad our lights just flickered and we didn't lose power. It's been around 50*+ and sunny the last three days so alot of it has gone.
I put 9 eggs in the incubator on Feb. 14. As of today, I have eight chicks. One is drying and fluffing as we speak. (kinda sounds like it's doing laundry. My kind of chick) I don't know if the last one is going to hatch, though. I haven't seen any movement at all. The first hatched about 7:30 Sat. morning. Mind you, I had stayed up until 3AM waiting to see the first born come out. My Husband found it when he went to check on them that morning. We had three hatch on Sat.,two on Sunday and three today. The first ones have been in there for two days. Would it be alright if I took them out? I have an LG and can take out one of the windows to do it.
Now that everything is up and running, I've got to go print out the bands for the cigars we bought. "It's a pullet" and "It's a cockeral" with a little chickie on it, I should think.

Take care,
Sandy

(edited to say) Sorry for all of you that lost more than power. All you guys were on my mind the whole time. And yes, pictures are coming.
