Yup, I agree....that stunk as we were in a cabin on a lake with no breeze for a week. spent our vacation in Saranac Lake as we do each year and coudn't buy a fan no way.....no how.

My biggest problem is that I seem to blink and miss spring...it feels like it goes directly from snowy/icy/cold weather that is hard to get out and work in ...to hot/biting flies/gnats/mosquitoes weather that is hard to get out and work in.

Oh, if anyone needs/wants some really nice vintage, chick glass bases for the ball jars I am selling some under the index listing "Everything else for sale". I am done hatching and have quite a few things I want to downsize here now. They work well with marbles placed in them and no jar in the very beginning weeks as well.

really hot today, but at least there's some breeze. I have the sprinkler going and everyone's had some watermelon. Managed to install another automatic door on our funky green treehouse coop- it's rather an ugly and unorthodox setup but it works! (well, we shall see if I set the timer correctly before celebrating).

Other than that.. trying to stay cool!

thanks! They really are nice and a very thick/heavy glass. No tipping over etc. And they clean up beautifully in a dishwasher machine. I just bought the ball jars for them and and they worked great.
