I've decided to sell all of my Calls, Runner and some other assorted ducks/chickens. I can't afford an electric fence and I can't let any of the younger stuff out to free range without a fox getting them and the feed bill is just too high with the stuff penned up.
Pair of young Khaki Campbell ducks from Holderreads Waterfowl, the hen survived a mink attack and is missing part of her foot. $15 for the pair. It *was* a trio last week...
White Silver Appleyard (Also from Holderreads) : Males and females Males $10, Females $15 or a trio for $35 (Available until a cool day, then I am eating them. So hurry! LOL)
Runner Ducks, assorted colors (some showable colors like Fawn and white or penciled, one black with a white spot) From Holderreads Waterfowl, excellent Q ducks and should make nice show ducks for next year. I think there are 8 left, males and females $125 for all, will not seperate. One female is currently loose, I'm sure it will be gone tomorrow if I can't catch it, sigh.
7 Call ducks: 6 white, one black and white. Decent Quality (except for the black, its largeish, its currently sitting on eggs, one of the whites did briefly sit, but changed its mind.) $30 pair or $75 for all, 4 girls, 3 boys.
6 Buff/Cayuga Cross ducklings, from lines that lay well and brood like crazy, These guys are about two weeks old, outside with Momma and already foraging! $5 each or all for $25. (It was 7, one drowned)
Show Quality Black Ameraucana Rooster (young) $10 May carry Lavender.
I also have two young Ameraucanas that do not make the SQ cut, one black pullet and one odd recessive colored something, probably a Roo. $5.00 each
Trio of adult Ameraucanas, One splash hen(currently broody) and one black hen (also broody) Hens are cuts from my show pen, Roo looks nice, I like the size on my original Roo better. Blue/green egg color. $50 for all.
I also have Silver Fox and Rex rabbits available, does and bucks, some breeding age. I also have a few Lionhead crosses available too.
Please email me if you are interested in anything, Would consider trades for a barn fan, electric fencing (anyone see the irony that if I SELL all of my stuff I could then afford a fence I would no longer need?) a Barn cat that will actually catch and kill rats...
Or anyone know of a close by auction to Rochester? I'd wait til the Bath auction, but I am sure most of the above would be eaten by then.
