Start a route, based on how often people need your services and charge mileage in addtion to your hourly rate. Give a discount to anyone who lets you sleep over so you don't have to return home each night when you are on the road a distance from home. Be sure to charge more for "deep cleaning" as opposed to regular weekly or monthly cleaning. You might want to start small, doing it weekends only....maybe one weekend a month to start to see if you can really make a living at it. Might want to advertise on local Craig's List as well as any area's CL that you plan to go to.

I would think you would be able to do 3 - 4 a day, maybe more, depending on the travel distance.

Be sure to pack a change of SHOES for driving (don't want poo in the car), a cage or two if you accept part of your pay in chickens and a cooler for hatching eggs.(hot water bottle optional depending on the season)

You mentioned some very good points/ ideas. Some things I have already been thinking about such as what exactly they would want done and how often.
I think I may already have one job lined up and will be waiting for Rancher's call if his current hired hand quits

Beleive it or not I used to make up business plans for friends on a fairly regular basis. 3 of the businesses I helped with the business plans are still functioning these 5+ years later.
Now ask the obvious question....have *I* ever succeeded in business. NOPE. I give everything away to cheap. But I keep trying.

When I was pregnant I had one of my friends kids come over and clean it, I overpaid him and no one ever does as good as a job as I do. But it did the trick when I couldn't bend over. Took me almost 3 hours to clean it one day and that's when I figured I was too pregnant to clean it. I am very happy to clean it myself now, all the little nooks and crannies are once again clean! I felt kinda bad asking a kid to scrape all the poo, I have a little scraper I use on the floor...that requires getting on your hands and knees and I just couldn't ask him to do that. I actually enjoy cleaning the coop, brings me back to the pre-child having days when I could spend all day with my chickens (on my days off).
My babysitter had my son for a little while when I wasn't at work yesterday and I got to do what I have wanted to do for a year....drank beer and watched my birds free range...ahhhh what a good 45 minutes it was

I miss the days when I could drink all day with my birds!
