NY chicken lover!!!!

Never had coccidiosis with any of mine before thank goodness. Never fed medicated feed before but I would have if I ever had experienced it.
Don't think my mother in law believed me on the pig. Told the wife 'are you sure he didn't see a bear'...I know what a pig looks like...she called yesterday and said it was spotted a mile down the road from us rutting a old hay bale in a field. I might have to invest in a electric fence if there is more around. I don't think you can pig proof a run/coop.

You are going to have a battle on your hands with that animal-

TJchickens lost a whole coop to a mountain lion. He had shared this bc he got it on camera-
I would be scared as heck...And be target practicing!!!
 
Ok, I took more pics of the red stuff today. Both cages had it, so at least one bird in each breed has it. It's not liquid blood, but more of a semi solid matter, same color and consistency of a squashed liver, I think.
