Anyone here got broodies on eggs? There is an article in the Hobby Farms on Fall chicks.

Where are you located? I could cross one to my Delaware hens and get sex linked chicks. If you're into eating your birds that would be a good idea since you'd have hens for eggs and roosters for the freezer.

What are "ancient" birds? Most chickens do well if housed properly without added heat.
