Marq sold off all of her birds a while back so she had more time to do other things and travel. At least I remember her saying that during a conversation we had.. On a side note about her. I went to college with her daughter, small world I know, But anyways her daughter just lost her house to a fire. Everyone made it out safe, but the house was a total loss. They are living with Sue (Marq) right now. I'm waiting to hear back on what she is most needing right now. I know that donations have been pouring in for them.

So, I just wanted to put out there that I'm putting in an order with Sandhill - or rather, two orders, one for chicks and one for goslings/ducklings. If anyone would like to split the order with me, let me know by this afternoon for the waterfowl and by this Monday for the chicks. I'm aiming to have them delivered before Chickenstock but if the order gets pushed back and misses that time you'd have to pick them up from me yourself. We'll split the shipping costs so if more than one person goes in it'll be cheaper on shipping for everyone.

I'd need more time, can you wait a bit? Too, you show Vermont but where are you and how would we get our chicks?

I might be interested in a pair of goslings or a few Muscovy. I really shouldn't and I was thinking if I did try to get someone to go in on a holderread order.

I'm smack on the VT border, about 45 minutes outside of Glens Falls. As I said, you'd have to either pick them up at Chickenstock or come get them from me, I can't deliver. I need to get my order in ASAP because the chicks I want are already sold out until May and could sell out entirely at any time.

I just mailed in the waterfowl order, sorry The roads are horrible and I was going out for something else so I stopped at the PO and mailed it, I didn't want to have to go out a second time. I ordered more Tufted Romans to add some outside genetics to my flock and some Welshies to fill out the order. I checked into muscovies for you and it looks like they only sell them as a group of 12 for $100 plus separate shipping so I don't think that would have worked.

The chick order is still open, I'll be mailing that separately.

If you do want some goslings though I can have Tufted Romans for Chickenstock

Sounds like you got a nice GFF variety! Will you be keeping and breeding any of them?

I have Muscovys & I'm hoping they start laying sooner this year - trying to get them to stay inside the coop that has a light on a timer to trigger them to lay sooner. If that works, I should have either eggs or ducklings by Chickenstock.

Off the chicken topic:

I don't like our toilet seat as it's stained by the cleaner and yuk. What do you recommend?

Too, looking to switch toilet to a dual flush system. What do you recommend.

Been to Consumer reports but not a subscriber yet.
