I'm waiting for some coronation Sussex to hatch. So far only one and its stargazing

Not sure what I can do for it as I most likely not make it out to the store tomorrow. Never had this before so not sure how to treat.

I hope the others don't hatch the same.

Sounds like wry neck; they can hatch with it especially if the hen was lacking some nutrient when she mafe that particular egg. Do you have Nutri-Drench handy? If so give it a few drops orally every day until it's better.

I only raise marans. mostly bcm. jay z and his hen are my only 2 birchens, when I went to another state to pick up the eggs, the breeder said I could take some extras so I took some birchens and luckily 2 of the 3hatched. which is pretty good statistically speaking for marans! I really only wanted BCM so I only took 3 out of the 5 extras she allowed from this type. I was pleasantly surprised with them and now I'm excited by them as a side project in addition to my main main focus of bcms. This is their first season but i think they look great and also i know the lady i purchased from was showing her birds. Can't wait to set some of their eggs in my incubator :)
they're very nice, i wish you'd gotten more. some folks don't like to work with them as their eggs are not as dark as the Coppers.

Buyer beware! It's a 'no-name- brand so probably a Chinese knock-off. There was an article in Practical Poultry last year about cheap incubators - they were responsible for several fires d/t wiring problems.
I hear you. Which is why I was checking here. I'm not going to buy one. If I did buy a new one it would be the Genesis 1588. Incubator Warehouse was nice to deal with.

But anyways her daughter just lost her house to a fire. Everyone made it out safe, but the house was a total loss. They are living with Sue (Marq) right now. I'm waiting to hear back on what she is most needing right now. I know that donations have been pouring in for them.
Let us know if we can help in some way

So, I just wanted to put out there that I'm putting in an order with Sandhill - or rather, two orders, one for chicks and one for goslings/ducklings. If anyone would like to split the order with me, let me know by this afternoon for the waterfowl and by this Monday for the chicks. I'm aiming to have them delivered before Chickenstock but if the order gets pushed back and misses that time you'd have to pick them up from me yourself. We'll split the shipping costs so if more than one person goes in it'll be cheaper on shipping for everyone.
