NY chicken lover!!!!

Warrensburger here! If anyone wants to swap some hens for a good, gentle, well-behaved black sumatra/columbian wyandotte rooster at some point then I don't think my roommate would complain : D
 
So Sad To see Cowboy Passed away this morning ..I tried to figure out what was wrong with him . I found out what I think was wrong with him ..then couldnt find a treatment for it ..My vet knows nothing about chickens . Too late . He was the sweetest Rooster I ever knew . He let me pick him up all his life . And would answer me when I said hello to him. If I was Holding him he would let strangers pet him too .
I cant bury him as we under 6 + inches of snow and it still coming down . I think one of his hen is also infected .. I am treating her with Penicillin . Little cowboy still cant stand after his fall . He now greets me when I come down Cellar ..Like Cowboy used too

Finally got my Emu eggs! If anyone might be interested in Emu when they get too big for me I'll be happy to keep you in mind.. if they hatch, that is. :p
Can't wait for this snow to melt..
