NY chicken lover!!!!

I have 6 free bantam chicks if anyone wants them. They are 3/4 serama and 1/4 Silkie. All are fizzled but some are smooth feathered and a couple are silkied. Mom and dad are both under a pound so these should stay small too. There’s a couple buff laced, a couple black a chocolate and a black with gold leakage. Dad is pure frizzle serama and mom is half serama half showgirl Silkie. I’m in Lake Pleasant. Please someone give them a home. If you want dad too, he can go with them. He is a good papa and takes care of them.

I have (2) 5 gallon Little Giant waterers I think I want to sell. One is basically brand new. I used it for 2 hours. The other is used but in great condition. I will make sure it’s scrubbed and disinfected. Looking to get $20 each. I went with horizontal nipple system so I don’t need these. Thanks.

Not that anyone here cares, but....SOLD!

Got old feed bags ? Use them ..I use these bags for different things . Cut in half.. they can be used to put boots on in the closet , they can be put under bedding in nest boxes , in chicken cages for broody hens with chicks for ease to clean them out ..

Anyone have any tips regarding squirrels/chipmunks and chicken feed? We have a trough built out of schedule 40 pipe attached to the side of the coop with a little roof and it's worked wonderfully for 2 years. Well, until now....stupid squirrels and chipmunks have found it. Not sure why it was ok for 2 years but it is what it is. We wouldn't have known until my husband said he had to stop and get a bag of feed, I was like what? We just bought one 2 weeks ago, they usually last a month! Went down and watched for awhile and there they were. He's taken care of the majority of them but there are a couple left with a death wish that will be fulfilled soon. We don't want to keep the feed in the coop and can't cover the top of the coop/run with netting as it's in a partially wooded area and falling branches, etc take out the netting. Any other ideas? Do the treadle feeders work outdoors all spring/summer/fall without rusting, etc.? Or any suggestions on a feeder that would work outdoors but keeps out varmints? Thanks for any help....so pissed, little jerks.
