I just added a hoop run. I will do deep litter in it with mulch that hasn’t been dyed(if I can find it), grass clippings and dried leaves in the fall.
Do you add anything in with the pdz or that’s all? I think deep litter will work best for me in their run as well...if I can get enough material to make it work.

But in addition to bedding correct? What type of bedding does it work well with, easy to clean out, etc.
it should work with any bedding ...it is like a fine powder... I havent tried it in the coop . I use deep litter if it starts to smell . ...just add more bedding on the top . or if usually change all the bedding 2- 3 times a year .

Anyone interested in a porcelain bantam cochin cockerel asking $20 but really just not looking to give him as a free meal so if your interested in breeding him or keeping as a pet pm me and we'll talk. Hatched out of Lucky Pickens eggs.

I use the PDZ on the poop tray under the roost, I mixed it with sand but really dont like the sand, getting all the poop out of the sand is not as easy as it sounds. I much preferred before I added sand I just did a sprinkle of PDZ and sweep up with hand broom into dust pan.

I have a very handsome and sweet silkie boy available if anyone's interested! He's about 10 months old, I'm asking $50 for him to go to a great new home!
