Well thank you very much!

Right now he's got the whole flock to "play" with! lol I do have some EE's that lay beautiful green, blue and greenish blue eggs, so I can't wait until I can hatch some of these eggs out. How long do you think it would be until these eggs are fertile from him?? I'm dying to see what comes of that. I've also got a turken that follow hims around like he hung the moon! lol Can you imagine that cross, don't know whether to laugh or cry! Definitely would be interesting. I've also got a lav baby from chicken stalker as well as 3 white ameraucana's that she hatched out from pipsnpeeps (hope I got that right). They're all doing really well and growing like weeds. I had my suspicions that lav was gonna be a roo, but lately I'm thinking not. I'm glad, I just got the lav roo from her, and have no plans for an uprising anytime soon! I'm absolutely thrilled with him and the way he takes care of my girls is something to see.

Well I can wait for the Fair cause that just means summer's over and fall's around the corner!

But, I'd love to do the whole BYC get together deal, that would be a lot of fun! Hopefully the poultry division is a bit nicer than last year. It seemed to consist of one gentleman and all of his birds! lol I wish they'd put better and more accurate signs on the cages. And please, will they please spell Ameraucana right!!

And Tim, quit messing with your wife, you know she's tired from all of those weddings!! lol

Omani, No, I didn't see Earls on there, that's great! I think we'll be going late morning, I want to sleep in then go for chicken and biscuits and mile high pie yum! I'm going to stop at the TSC out your way and just take a peek at what they have........

My aunt's silkie hen hatched out a bunch of black silkies so she's going to trade me for a white one (yay!) I CANNOT believe how very huge these cornish rocks are! They are giants! I can't wait to get them out on the grass permanently!

take care everyone! Yes I'd love to go to the fair, I've actually never been, the only day I know I can't go is on a weds (I have classes), let me know what week it is this summer!

I would love to have a byc meet up at the state fair, I went last year and you are right. It was only 1 guy with a lot of not so show quality birds, but I did buy some fabulous birds from him and his prices were decent. Still have 1 of those birds (stupid fox, still at large, but all my neighbors are gunnin for him too now) and I have no idea what she is. I really hope to see some more variety there this year. Loved the crowing contest, I used to have an OEGB roo that would have won that contest. I noticed when I was there that a lot of the birds in the show were disqualified for wrong comb types, so I am guessing that a couple of the birds I got from him were mutts, but still can't figure why he would even bring mutts to the fair? Maybe for people like me who knew nothing at the time and just wanted some chickens? Now that I know more about breeds, I will enjoy looking at all the chickens even more. I digress, Count me in for a meet up....amy u comin? Guess I need a BYC shirt

Ah well, what the heck, had to buy a new bator today anyways. Now if I can just figure out what egg the turken lays, I may just do it!! lol
