Have you heard of this Theory of sexing eggs ?.
oval eggs are hens ...football shaped eggs are Roos - bigger coz a Roo is bigger ..
You mentioned 1 time you had a hen that hatched Roosters ..Do you remember if they were football shaped ?
no I haven't and it sounds ludacris to me. The hen I'm refering to is my best broody Mama. One of the many Blue Sumatra's. Her eggs are perfect egg shaped. Besides one shouldn't hatch football shaped eggs as that means the air sack is small. My personal opinion is this theory is sillyness. My .02...or .005 in this economyHave you heard of this Theory of sexing eggs ?.

$100 to $200 to deliver a coop is SO SO SO SO REASONABLE! I usually charge more than that to deliver a table. Anytime I ship even a 4 foot long table it cost me AT LEAST $200 to ship it via freight. That is just a SMOKIN deal on a delivery charge.I've been searching around everywhere and emailing people for prices for custom made coops. I have two that I ordered online that are still in great condition but I'd like one bigger one that I can keep all the silkies I'll have (5 total after I weed out which chicks I want to keep) plus the two orpingtons. Right now I've taken the two coops plus the run and merged them all together only the coop on the right cannot attach and remain open to all so it's closed until the ducks arrive.
It's so frustrating. Everything I find that's reasonably priced, I'll end up spending an additional $100 or $200 on delivery! I finished making my wine rack today out of an old pallet and was thinking, if I could get enough pallets I wonder if it would be possible to make a coop out of them. Someone did it here....

I think it looks great and mine wouldn't have to be nearly as big seeing how small my flock is.
