I hope is all is well with everyone! I worked overtime on Mothers day got some mulch down and fill dirt in, got some plants done, grocery shopping done, cleaned up dog vomit, clothes washed meals made, homework done, and bills paid. I'm tired. well I confess I didn't actually clean the dog vomit, since it was on my favorite blankets and pillow I just wrapped it up and moved it out the way figuring tomorrow is another day!!!

Oh the chickens you ask they are great seems my one silkie and barred rock are having an egg laying contest LOL. Oh funny thing my barred rock Sandy will only lay where the golf ball is so it accidently gets moved between the two boxes when cleaning, I giggled to myself when I realized that. I wonder what will happen when I put more golf balls in more nest boxes, I got two sets of babies one in which will be coming of age pretty soon LOL.

As the cut is on my face & I dont want it to scar ..I didnt use it ..
I wash / pat it a couple times a day with a moisturizing soap . As I have found that cuts heal faster if they are a little moisturized ..

All I know is my daughter got an infection at her incision site when she got home after heart surgery. Her heart specialist put her on antibiotic and said to use hydrogen peroxide on it. Now this is after it has a scab though. I know hydrogen peroxide drys out skin some and is slightly acidic. That is probably where it can harm the cut seeing acid will eat away live or dead cells. I personaly prefer rubbing alcohol. I've always done that though even as a kid. I only by the 91% at that. I use it for everything though. Get a white head pop it use alcohol to dry/clean it. bug bite rubbing alcohol. Athletes foot rubbing alcohol drys it out. That's just me though I don't do docs much myself so I tend to use it for all lol. It's sorta like turpentine good for lots of stuff. Sadly I don't use turpentine for anything though.

The slower you take to heal and scab the less chance of a scar. Good idea to use an antibiotic lotion or ointment to minimize scabbing and scaring. And try to minimize sun exposure to it until it is healed. Best...~D~

Can anyone tell me why my rooster sits on eggs in the nest box!?! Iv caught him doing it multiple times! He jumps in...sings and happy little song and then sits on the eggs..i finally got a pic of it yesturday but its super blurry because when i get close , he jumps out and runs away lol..
