Morning Everyone,
Back to the grind for me...not for very much longer thank god!
Pharm ~ Thanks for the verification on my blue silkie chick.
Rancher ~ Yea, after joining this thread and reading all the info about bringing other birds into your flock, I knew I would eventually want to start hatching my own. I've been lucky so far with finding trustworthy people to get other birds from to start off with. So now that I have what I need to get my own lines going, I've decided to finally start hatching. Since this first hatch was a small one I was very happy to get a lighter blue, a blue splash and a darker blue - but was disappointed when I realized that last dark blue chick only had 4 toes. I'll be keeping it around though.
Featherz ~ Have you ever been to the Yankee Candle Factory/Butterfly Exhibit in Mass?? They're right near each other, we took the kids there the first year we moved to Albany. Made a day trip out of it meeting the parents from CT there. You could always stop at Lee outlets on the way home for a little shopping and of course I would definitely make a stop at Coccadotts Cakeshop for some cupcakes if it were my birthday and I was still living in the Albany area.
