I have realized today that Agway feeds have no animal protien in them... :/ I was buying because of the cheaper price but I think that I need a higher protien food for the flock. Any suggestions? I am also open to buying from local mills, not just stores.

I dont have animal protein in mine either. I supplement with canned mackeral, liver & any meat leftovers I have a few times a week.

I am hoping to switch to grains for their FF & get them off the processed food. Then I can add fish meal as their protein into it.

I was just reading about fish meal! Was wondering where we would get that kind of thing around here.
 




that is how I enjoyed this perfect summer day. Finished siding and stained the Vardo. My wife helped stain as well. 12 hour day on it today counting chasing down materials
