NY chicken lover!!!!

Yesterday was chaotic so I wasn't able to get on and update. Had to wash and change bedding 2 days running and yesterday it was around work and doctor's. I didn't get home until 4pm and had to dry bedding, make bed, make dinner, collect eggs, feed horses n dogs, dishes, put groceries away, and set up the girls clothes and bag for today. Oh and bathe girls! Never a dull moment.

I passed inspection at the docs office. Still have some plug and am not dialated. They asked me if I wanted to be taken out of work, but I said no can't afford it. I need to push more fluids and try to sit down more.

Sit down more? Tab, it doesn't sound like you sit AT ALL!! Try and sit some........
Nutty I hope your DH is doing ok and that lilly is feeling better today.

Ginny glad you had a good time and saw some amazing sights.

ChickPrincess-- I hope for the best for FIL
Thanks!

so my leghorn has been missing days laying randomly thinking maybe cause shes just starting. Well we got thinking she's laying in brush around the old barn so i start breaking down the weeds and nothing so i go in through the old hay area. wife walks in through the main door and in a box by door 4 white eggs. Just told the wife the birds don't get out of the coop untill i get my one white egg every day. Here is a pic of the eggs one is the largest egg we have had so far from any of our birds i think. I think its from a day she skipped in the coop and then laid a double in barn next day. Now to float them or maybe just scramble and feed to the chickens all but the leghorn that bad girl. Only dang bird that dont hit the nest boxes in coop.

Tab didn't you have a doctor appt. today what did they say?

Rancher just let me know what you want for the Lavendar Amer Roo and when you want to get rid of him I am definitely interested in him.

ChickPrincess am glad you caught the egg eater but if she is laying thin shelled eggs is she eating them just because she is lacking calcium?

Stony love the grill and the meal is looking real good too YUMMM!

Hen I agree I love turkeys

Lynzi I always have deer all over my yard they were up the other day looking at the ducks. They are so amazing to watch.

I got a surprise today (Rancher Look Away) I have one pair of lavendar Silkies and today I go to reach in to give them food and water and there was an egg in their pen and they are the only ones in that pen so my girl is now laying YAY!!!!!.

Got to call it an early night Hubby is having Surgery in the AM and has to be at the Hospital at 5:30 am so need to get up at 3:30 YUCK!!!

You got anything to trade, non chickenwise?

I've been buying watermelon and other melons to get DD to get more fluids. She doesn't drink enough water. You can't afford to have something bad happen either you know. How much longer you've got to go? Tell Travis to help out. Otherwise he might end up doing it all by himself if you end up in the hospital.

DW had the queen all day yesterday and then I took her to the park so DD can rest or get other things done. AND she doesn't work outside the home.

Just got back from picking up a 4th khaki campbell. I have no idea anymore about this breed of duck. I picked what I'm hoping will be a duck and not another drake. She was telling me how her duck is the lightest in color and has a light colored beak after I told here drake is turning light and had a yellow beak. I guess the only real way tell is by their quack? This one I picked out had a half quack half hiss/ whistle kinda sound. Time will tell I guess. I placed it in with mine right away so it wasn't alone and it immediately ran over to my 3 like they had been together forever. So cute! Love my duckers!
