Miquwid - couldn't do a video cuz my phone is about die, but here an up close and personal pic of each of their bills. One yellow and brown bean, two bluish greenish beaks with black beans and one slate with a caramel bean. There ya have it, three drakes and a duck! Just my luck!

I feel bad for the poor pit, he looks so sad.

After only 4 days back to work, I'm wore out. I actually went back to my old job in a lumber mill and forgot how much of a beating it was.

The wife called yesterday in hysterics. Our pit got hit by one of her friends backing up in our driveway. After a trip to the vet, turned out he was ok. Some road rash from being under the bumper of her car and pretty sore. She said he was lucky he didn't get the tire. Poor boy is 12yrs old and 110lbs. I'm glad he isn't smaller. The woman that hit him was a total mess after doing it and so was I. She did take care of the vet bill for us and I'm just glad it was nothing too serious, I'm not ready for him to go just yet.

Oh no! That's awful! I'm glad he wasn't his too bad though and is ok. That is my biggest fear when pulling into other people's driveways who have dogs. They always seems to come right up to your car and then out of your vision. So you you can't tell if they're in front of your car, behind your car, under your car! We have a dachshund and he comes running over to my husbands car every day when he comes home from work. He's going to get ran over one of these days Cuz my husband just assumes he'll get out of the way. I try to keep him inside when I know someone is coming over or coming home.

That's what one of my drakes is starting to look like, and that is the one I'll keep should I get rid of two.

Rancher- I see on the Southern NY thread that someone has two rumpless true Arauncana Roos for sale, only 8 weeks or so. Not sure if that was something to replace your Lavender Americauna.

This should help you. I end up posting this a lot, I should probably just save the link lol. First duck is a male, second is a female. You can tell really easy by their quacks.
