Hello! I found the thread my neighbor Rancher Hicks told me about (Thanks for the eggs, by the way). I am currently working on my coop (always a work in progress) and have attached some pics for any comments or improvements

Welcome! My only advice is to be sure that it is predator proof as much as you are able. I don't think it's possible to be 100% predator proof. Sturdy enough to withstand snow. My one coop's door opens out and I have to shovel snow away from it all winter. I built my 2nd one a couple feet off the ground. Be sure it is well ventilated but not drafty. I thought I was doing a smart thing by putting my door on the West side, 1 Window on the North and South. I have a larger unopenable window also on the West. Our storms (rain and wind) come North and South somehow, but the very hot sun shines on the West side and in that window, heating up the coop on already hot days. So that was a mistake. Everything can be improvised. Enjoy

Sorry to hear youve been sick ..glad your feeling better ...
Is the policemen still visiting your house daily?
No, he hasn't been back. We did have a complaint about the dogs barking last week but nothing came of it.
