I had a ridiculously good duck dish many years ago. It was very tender -- the meat was pulled and in some kind of light sauce / gravy and stuffed in a crepe with pine nuts. My hubby and I were at a B&B on Garnet Mountain in the Adirondacks at the time. Yum.........
I know duck is often served rare, like steak, and is somewhat oily. I don't know that I would like it as you would eat a chicken breast, but in a dish like the one I just mentioned, or in a stew like Stony's, it's really tasty.
