NY chicken lover!!!!

no I don't. Haven't had one come around recently. Next time I'm out hunting or whatever and I see some I'll take a cell pic. We only have an inch of snow right now however
That would be helpful. You're close to me so I only have about an inch of snow as well.
I went looking around the coop and all I saw were what looked like cat tracks.
I took some pictures but unfortunately on a phone it's hard to see if they are any good...

I forget who was looking for traps but TSC has them 2 for $20 I believe tomorrow
I have 2 of those deals. The "free" trap is too small for much of anything but an immature raccoon or rats. But it is free. I will warn anyone who purchases one. You catch a coon or a possum and you WILL be repairing the trap. The traps are made in China out of very thin metal. They WILL bend the heck out of the flap and usually bend the rod that the flap is attached too. They can be repaired time and time again. ALSO of MAJOR importance. The traps don't always work right out of the box without a little to a lot of tweeking. So CHECK the trap to make sure it trips.
They are $60 less than a good trap for a reason. BUT they will do the job

I bought this trap, but have yet to use it, because I'd have to bait it and it might attract a predator that is not a problem. Also I've lost the instructions and don't know how to set it.

I got this trap that I use for squirrels, though now I've taken to using a rat trap. There is a weasel trap using a rat trap on the internet but I've not seen any tracks for them either.

I'm definitely not an advocate for re-homing predators either.

Well - I am NOT handy - crafty .... so building one - even with FREE materials - will get me a coop that will fall apart in one year anyway !

So I did a lot of research and poured through so many reviews my eyeballs were dry .... I got a snaplock coop - the bigger one. And I am VERY very pleased with it .... However, it didn't fit in the hoop coop run .... that my husband when he squeezed in time over 3 (that is THREE MONTHS ) to build a simple hoop coop for winter ...... so he can keep those dimensions in mind when he takes all of next year to build the best run/coop ever. :)

Point is - I really had to buy something pre-done - It cost a ton, but it will last a very long time and is easy to hose down and lice and mites aren't as fond of that plastic as they are of wood.

Very easy to side out the trays to clean and peek in to grab an egg (if there is one).

So like everything - so much boils down to particular circumstances on what is the best move. I am sad/angry that companies charge so MUCH for a frigging coop that crumbles in a year. It feels like robbery to me. Shame on them !

Say - I can smell my pies cooking ! So I'm off and hope that you ALL have a peaceful and fun THANKSGIVING !!!

rehoming predators without a special permit is a $500 fine. Killing them is not only legal but free
