Not that I want to get into a debate over this subject, but not only do I not understand how people could sell a CHICK at that price, I don't understand how someone could bring themselves to SPEND that on a single chick. That chick better be kept in a glass case away from all other to prevent it from illness and possible injury!Hah! I covet some of the Green Fire breeds -- $89.00 per chick isn't even the most expensive chick on that site! If you're not going to seriously breed and sell the stock, I can't see how Green Fire would be a reasonable option for anyone. They do occasionally offer chicks, pairs, and trios on Rare Breed Auctions, however.
